October Meeting Date Change - October 13th
We have the chance to get Roy Tokunaga of H & R Orchids in Hawaii to come talk to us in October. We have to reschedule our meeting date to the second Wednesday (October 13th). We will get to hear a world class speaker and help defray his travel costs with other societies. Email us with any preorders from H & R Orchids. I'm already starting on my list!

The American Orchid Society has an AOS Orchid Forum. There is also the Orchid Source Forum, RVO's Orchid Talk, the Orchid Board, Orchid Geeks and the Slipper Orchid Forum. Find specialy forums on the Orchid Wire. There are a lot of people talking about orchids out there, join 'em!

 AOS Judging
If you have a beautiful orchid you think is worthy of an AOS award, you should consider taking it to the Florida North Central Judging Center in Orlando. On the second Saturday of each month, AOS judges convene in the Palm Room at Harry P Leu Garden to evaluate any orchids brought to them before 1 pm. Leu Gardens is located at 1920 N. Forest Avenue, Orlando, FL 32803-1537.
