Jim talked about the pendulous spring blooming dendrobiums, like Den. anosmum, aphyllum and others, sometimes called soft cane dendrobiums. Jim talked about the different varieties and gave care guidance for their summer growth season and winter resting season.

Plant Tags
We have the good vinyl plant tags that you can write on either side with in pencil, and they won't fade or crack. Available in bundles of 30 for a $5 donation.
Potting Mixes
Coarse mix is a mixture of clay pebbles, large Orchiata bark, sponge rok and charcoal. It is a freely draining mix that is great for cattleyas and dendrobiums. We also have a soilless mixture for phalaenopsis. This is a more water retentive mix that is half sponge rock and half Pro-Mix HP. Potting supplies available for a small donation.
