Charles Wilson joined us from his home in Georgia to give us an absolutely fabulous program on bulbophyllums, filled with great photographs of the flowers and the plants and chock full of cultural tips. Our first hybrid meeting was a great success, thanks to Charles! Here's a link to his presentaion.

We have the good vinyl plant tags that you can write on either side with in pencil, and they won't fade or crack. Sold in bundles of 30 for $5 at the meetings.
Coarse mix is a mixture of clay pebbles, large Orchiata bark, sponge rok and charcoal. It is a freely draining mix that is great for cattleyas and dendrobiums, $5 for a gallon bag. We also have a soilless mixture for phalaenopsis. This is a more water retentive mix that is half sponge rock and half Pro-Mix HP, $3 for a gallon bag or two for $5. Email us
what you want and we'll bring it to the meeting. If you want large quantities, you can bring a 5 gallon bucket over to Sue and Terry's and we'll blend up a custom mix for you.
